Import Trades from Other

You can connect Other to TradeJournal.co to automatically import and journal your trades. TradeJournal.co supports file upload and API connections for Other.

Conver Broker Data To Fit This Format

  • "File upload" or "Copy & Paste" with the exact field format is required!

  • Please use this "example CSV file" as a guide when converting downloaded transactions from your broker. Also, check out the "Pre-built Broker Conversion Sheets" we have below to help get you started! We may already have the broker you are using or other broker conversion sheets can act as a great reference when building your own.
  • Data MUST include these headers:
    • symbol, date, id, amount, price, fee, entry_type, reg_fee, option, future, broker
  • IMPORTANT. Please be articulate:
    • date MUST be formatted as such: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS
      • The separator between Date can be {/,-,.}
      • The separator between Time must be {:}
    • id can be any transaction ID you'd like to include
    • fee and reg_fee can be positive or negative
    • option = FullContractName
      • Example: SPY221114P00383000
    • future = FullContractName
      • Example: MESH23
    • crypto/forex symbols by should include "/"
      • Exampe: BTC/USD or EUR/JPY
    • broker should be the exact name as it shows on TradeJournal with correct spaces, case-sensitivity is not important. Examples:
      • TD Ameritrade, NinjaTrader, mt5
  • File import: Upload a statement or export from Other (CSV, Excel, or broker-specific format) via Import.
