Import Trades from Rithmic

You can connect Rithmic to TradeJournal.co to automatically import and journal your trades. TradeJournal.co supports file upload and API connections for Rithmic.

How to import your Rithmic transaction history

Rithmic-powered platforms (e.g. R | Trader, Teton, Sierra Chart, etc.) can export trade data. We accept CSV exports that include at least date, symbol, and quantity (and ideally price and buy/sell or type).

  1. From your Rithmic-based platform, export your trade history or fill report to CSV.
  2. Ensure the file has a header row with column names. The first row may be a section title (e.g. "Working Orders"); we automatically detect the Completed Orders section and its header row.
  3. We recognize columns such as: Create Time (PST), Date, Trade Date; Symbol, Ticker; Buy/Sell, Qty To Fill, Avg Fill Price, Order Number, Commission Fill Rate, etc.
  4. Each data row must include a date. Rows without a date are skipped.
  5. Upload the CSV file below. If your export uses different column names, contact support and we can add mappings.
  • File import: Upload a statement or export from Rithmic (CSV, Excel, or broker-specific format) via Import.
