Import Trades from TradeStation

You can connect TradeStation to TradeJournal.co to automatically import and journal your trades. TradeJournal.co supports file upload and API connections for TradeStation.

  1. In the TradeStation Trading Platform, go to the TradeManager, then the "Orders" tab
    • The "Orders" tab is at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Update Filters & Dates
    • From the "Status" drop-down at the top of the screen, select "Filled Orders".
    • Enter the date range you want to import into Tradervue and press the "Retrieve Orders" button.
    • Change the sort order to sort by Filled/Cancelled orders in ascending order (e.g. oldest first).
    • NOTE: if you are using unbundled pricing, and wish to track ECN fees and liquidity in Tradervue, then add the "Unbundled Route Fees" column to the Orders tab in the TradeManager before copying data.
    • Must include these fields: 
      • Filled/Canceled, Symbol, Type, Qty, Filled, Filled Price, Order Status, Duration, Commission, Contract Exp Date, Unbundled Route Fees
  3. Save data
    • Click (tick) the upper left “square”, then right-click and select “Copy”
  • File import: Upload a statement or export from TradeStation (CSV, Excel, or broker-specific format) via Import.
  • API import: Link your TradeStation account to sync trades automatically.

Go to Import on TradeJournal.co to connect TradeStation and start journaling your trades.
