The use of top-down analysis was used to understand the flow of the market. Started with using the daily timeframe to identify the overall move of the market. I dropped down to the lower time frame (1-hour timeframe) and noticed that the price was reaching near the support zone. I dropped down to an even lower timeframe (15-minute timeframe) and saw that the price was consolidating throughout the Asian session, creating both top-side and bottom-side liquidity. Topside liquidity was taken out during the pre-london session. Dxy was used for extra confluence as DXY and 6B are negatively correlated meaning that as DXY goes up 6B goes down. Waited for the New York session to begin as it is known as the reversal session. Being a Monday and the start of the week most markets follow/go in the direction of the trend.
Entered the market of a resistance zone, understanding that if the price breaks this zone, the price will move to the Asian session low.
