July 22, 2025 (4 Trades) (+$60.00)
Overall Grade: B
Day Summary: I came into today's session much more composed and with a process mindset. I had the right analysis in my head, but I took an early looser on the manipulation before the bigger down move. That screwed me up because I was then trading from the red. I caught the move back down but closed it early because I wanted to recoup my losses from Trade 1, only to watch it waterfall down (realistically I woulda been out but I at least would have made an extra 4 points). But anyways, that waterfall down created some FOMO that I had just messed up a short opportunity that I had been waiting weeks for. I was able to get short on a pop for continuation on Trade 3, but managed that trade with anxiety due to my emotions. All and all, I took pretty decent trades today but my executions could have been better.

TRADES
Trade 1 - Short 2 MES @ Trend Continuation + Momentum + 4 Targets + FOMO
Grade: B-
- good entry considering this wasn't a playbooked set up
- was looking for momentum and intuition to overcome the lack of set up
- knew this trade was going to be a loser after the HL set on the candle after my entry
- should have closed this trade when it set a HL and then closed above VWAP
- since these momentum trend continuation trades are aggressive, i need to remember to have mroe aggressive stops on these trades
Trade 2 - Short 2 MES @ 4 Targets + Manipulation + Bias
Grade: B+
- entry was a little early (FOMO) and definitely following my bias from the premarket/Trade 1
- good job holding through that fat green recovery candle, once that failed I knew I was right
- Target was 6338.00 and it smacked that shit, but I closed out of emotion from trading from the red
- I was also concerned about this bouncing off Yesterday's Low and this turning into a range day
- overall this was a good trade, but a lot of intuition and bias involved but overall my winning trade was bigger than my loser and that is important
- good job holding winner to where I did
Trade 3 - Short 2 MES @ Momentum + Key Level + Fakeout
Grade: B+
- with how aggressive the sell off was prior to this pop, I wanted to be mroe aggressive with my entry and I got a fakeout at a key level to try it
- this had started moving more than expected so the p/l swing was more than I anticipated, but I was ready to stop out quick (mentally) and was confident in the trade even though I still felt super anxious during this trade, mainly because I didn't want to go back into the red
- ^^ I don't remember but I probably was subconciously thinking about not wanted to lose my green streak - bad
- I did give this trade a chance to push further down but once it struggled and started to pop back I out I quickly just closed to secure my profits
- overall this is a high conviction scalp that could have turned into a bigger trade ($90+)
Trade 4 - Short 1 MES @ Range Fakeout + Trend Continuation + Good Loser
Grade: B+
- well I don't really need to explain my thought process on this trade because i drew it out before it happened haha
- drew the entry oval and arrow around the 10:30 candle
- I was biased this would head to new lows so I held the winner even though I could feel the bulls in the market, but with such tiny risk (half size plus small stop) I was willing to go for it and I don't think that was a bad decision
- once we set a HL and that big green candle closed, I knew this one was over
- decent entry for this trade (range fakeout + key level VWAP)
- good job accepting the risk on this trade
