Day Summary: Today I approached the market with a submissive, no expectations mindset which gave me a good headspace. I do think that helped me manage my trades today because, although I did go 2-2 on my trades today and they were both set ups, I had to hold through some uncomfortable drawdown on both. Confidence in my logical assesment of the chart due to my submissive mindset, helped me hold through the drawdown, even though it was very tough. Holding the winners on these trades and taking profits at the range low because I Knew The Day today was a great adjustment from yesterday!

Trade 1 - Short 2 MES @ 21 EMA Trap + VWAP)

- great entry for my 21 EMA Trap set up
- very tough to hold through the drawdown on this trade - due to my recent trading
- planned stop was a close above VWAP
- I was pretty confident I was on the right side of the trade and so once we retested highs, I knew that would be he area it would probably turn if it decided to drop
- still within my max 6pt stop
- great job holding this all the way to pre-set TP, especially when the candle before my exit candle dropped to 6669.50 and recovered
- Knew The Day and decided to take this off at the range lows because of how we have been trading recently in the morings
Trade 2 - Short 1 MES @
Grade: A
- had a nice trade on Trade 1 so I decided to take this with half size to limit the possibility of giving back all my gains
- I was pretty confident on this trade as well but was again met with instant drawdown, not as uncomfortale as Trade 1 but I was glad I only had 1 contract on
- I also thought if this started to work in my favor I could get an add on it and target a new LOD (actually hopeful target was 6690.50) but I didn't really get a spot to add where I really felt comfortable
- although I did want to be hopeful for 6690.50 as a target, I decided to take this off at a new LOW for P/L reasons to be honest, not because I was thinking about Knowing The Day - I want to recognize that
- good thing I did though because this was the low before a quick move back up to the range high
