The fund is co-managed by Nuveen Fund Advisors LLC, Nuveen Asset Management, LLC, and INTECH Investment Management. It invests in the public equity markets of the United States. The fund also invests some portion of its portfolio in derivatives using futures and options. It invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It primarily invests in stocks of large-cap companies with market capitalization within the range of S&P 500 Index. The fund employs quantitative analysis to create its portfolio. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the S&P 500 Index. Nuveen Core Equity Alpha Fund was formed on March 23, 2007 and is domiciled in the United States.
