Good entry, pushing up off support area with a stron bar. Could have entered a few bars before. Sold at first resistance. Should have held some for pre-defined high level, shortly after I sold it sky rocketed up 2$ a share to the next resistance level.
I think this is a sort of questionable entry really... price had come down to support, but hadn't shown a bullish bar.. could have bought back in.. Played the breakout / support retest later, small size, not big enough stop losses on those plays...

I was looking for bottom on a sector rotation.. The first play was an OK entry with some strong bullish bars. The second entry was dumb. I was looking for a double bottom, but it was not a strong bullish entry.

Good entry, bullish candle on support. Sold half at resistance level, couldn't break it. Moved stop to just above my entry so I wouldn't lose money on the trade.
Good entry, bullish bar. Sold first 5 because my position was too big with the stop (following rules, good). Sold 5 close to resistance level, good. Adjusted stop so the trade would not go negative on me, then got stopped out, good.
Not a great entry. It sorta looked like it found bottom, but it was after a knife and the price didn't surge up in a bullish candle, it just stayed near he bottom for a few minutes. Would have been a great trade later in the day...
This was a good entry, it was a good bullish bar. The chart for the day shows that the price continued much higher, hinted at by that bullish entry bar. The price action however was a bit choppy. I sol for a small profit as price pushed agains resistance. It was a good time to sell because it went back down to support after that. Hard to know wher to put the stop/profit target levels on this, but the bullish indicator worked.
This was not a great entry for 2 reasons. 1, it knifed hard at open. When things knife hard they usually continue to knife after rests on the way down. 2. I didn't enter on a bullish bar. It had a decent bullish dead cat bounce bar earlier.. but I didn't enter then.. It was having lower lows and higher highs, on the prior few minutes vefore and after my entry.
This was a decent trade. It opened high, and dipped right back to support. It printed a bullish set of bars. I scalled half my position with buyers left market. Sold the other half before I lost money on it.
First trade was ok, bullish bar.. second trade was not good, I think I thought it was a breakout retest. but the exit price was too low for a good stop... third trade was after a knife, not a good idea..

Great bullish bar at open. OK entry. Price dropped past stop for small loss. Second trade was great. Bullish entry and scalled out on the way up. Third trade was good, bullish entry, sold for small profit since price action was weak.

This was a great trade. It was showing strength in premarket, so I bought in before open, not normal. I did a great job of scaling out. Made 1.75 a share on the last profit taking.
OK entry, very bullish, but the move had been made. It did make higher price later, but it chopped down low before that. I sold at a good place (minimal loss).
These were backside trades..... but... they were at key levels, with some forms of strength.. with tight stops...I wonder what kind of other broad market trends I could use as other factors for backside trades like this. (SPY up v down, etc)
