Huge mistake mixing 2 completely separate strategies today. If I was not looking at these trendlines I wouldve been short multiple times but instead I kept my bias long just bc of this trendline. I need to be very careful when we pull away from the trendlines like this and look for retests, Its always better to short into the retest than to try to long the first attempted retest. Going long while the market topped out is also very hard because you will get 2 days of clean price action then a day like this happens where we just sell down with no end in sight and the short was very difficult as the vold add both opened up very green on the session. Since mag7 also had a trendline and it broke it I think its best to just leave the ES alone on a day like this. Its so hard to look for longs when sellers are this strong and the mag7 is that weak.
