lesson: IF the market is in sell mode and you can short pretty much anywhere on the chart at any moment and not even question if you are going to be in a drawdown before making 20 points.......then why am I going long? I dont care what the vold add and tick say lol they are manipulation machines implemented by banks that teach me how to not trade correctly. if they are all up but es and nq and mag7 (the leaders of the entire worlds risk) are down heavily, it doesnt matter how many times I go long I will simply lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose and lose. I figured since premarket had some fakeouts and we hit a huge trendline on the daily chart that maybe it would work and I wouldve held it to a clear resistance level but at the same time like i just said, if the market is in sell mode you dont go long idc how many indicators and retardation metrics you have. you follow the fucking trend.....end of story.
In all reality I should have never been trading today in the first place. What happened to the whole "if es and nq are conflicting ym rty you dont trade" thing? did I not realize the importance of that ? clearly no.
Look at yesterday
First day since I changed my strategy that the entire market was in confluence with eachother and instead of using 5MES and making 20 points I went long one time and lost $15...... that is insanely just fucking stupid. how could I be so dumb as to watch my perfect A+ day go right past me? how do I ensure that this never happens again?

I will not trade unless the ym rty is in confluence with the es and nq
I will trade with big size if the ym rty is in confluence with the es and nq and if the vold add tick are also in confluence I will hold until the end of the day for a 50+ point gain on 5MES minimum.
