Day Summary: Today I did a pretty good job of approaching the market, and although I did get a bit aggressive (especially on Trade 1), I still had a good read on the market. My second trade was a much better trade but unfortunately closed early out of fear even when I knew I had momentum in my favor. My trades were good today, but my trade management wasn't ideal, probably because of the emotion of trying to come back from last week's blow up. All and all, took good trades today though and wrapped up early, so that is back to forming better habits.

Trade 1 - Short 3 Contracts @ Momentum + Scalp + Intuition
Grade: B-
- aggressive trade, especially first thing on a tuesday morning after a long weekend and after blowing up at the end of last week
- I did, however, think I had a good read on the market and trusted the momentum
- we were also at the top of the daily range so you can expect that sellers won't give up that level easily
- trusted the momentum and realized this was the first real pullback - first is always the best
- entry was made with slight FOMO after the key level just got hit
- decent job holding, tough trade to hold but +/- 6136.75 was target
Trade 2: Short 3 Contracts @ 21 EMA Trap + Momentum + Intuition
Grade: A-
- A+ entry on all 3 contracts @ key level @ 21 ema during momentum to the downside - perfect bull trap
- playbooked set up - good
- Huge mistake not to hold this winner - everything I thought was going to happened, happened but I got out early out of fear
- +/- 6131.75 was initial TP
- If anything, I should have been been adding where I was taking contracts off because it was doing exactly what I wanted to see
- after blowing up last week, I was emotional and closed this trade early just to secure some profits when it was the wrong decision - this was a trade to put on risk
- this had a potential to be an outsized winner - need to remember how much those help your account
