Day Summary: Today was a bang bang start to the week with a quick 2 minute work day (61 seconds actually but it took two candles). Even though I came into the bell not feeling like I was in the best trading minset, I saw my set up and executed it in the direction of the overnight price action. I did enter 2 contracts instinctively, but I was supposed to be using one considering I am still in trader rehab, so that was not ideal and probably had to do with my mindset. Thankfully, the trade was a winner and I only had to endur 2.5 points of drawdown. I did a good job holding the winner but I did take it off just a couple points shy of my preset TP out of emotion. To be honest though, at the open, it is hard, and not wise to risk giving up the 8 points I had just made in one minute so I am glad i took it off were I did. And that was it for the day. One and Done for the win as usual.

Trade 1 - Long 2 MES @ 21 EMA Trap + Price Action
Grade: A-
- playbook set up - yes
- trading in the direction of the trend - yes
- entry right at the 21 - good - although for some criticism, this was stabbing at the dip which is not an ideal entry
- initially nervous because I realized I had entered 2 MES, but quickly went back into profits and it all happened so quick I couldn't even really think about moving my Stop/TP
- also part of the nerves where because I realized i had just went long right into the top of the range (15 MIN)
- took it off just slightly prior to my preset TP (6964.00 - Yesterday's HOD) but this is actually exactly where I would normally want to exit a trade - a couple points below the key level
- good job holding winner - this did go a lot higher but I got the piece of the move that I was looking for so I am happy with that
- price action is king - remember that!
