Overall Grade: A
Day Summary: Today was my first day back trading after my trip to Jamaica. Pray for JA in Hurricane Melissa.
In terms of trading, I had a great day! I had a trade plan, approached the market with a submissive mindset, executed the plan, added to a winning trade that was panning out, and held my full position size almost all the way to target. It was a bit of a tough hold at times, as I was up $60-$70 twice on this trade before watching it go back to breakeven the first time and into drawdown the second time after adding to the trade, but I just kept reminding myself to stick to the plan and that I was also pretty sure I was on the right side of the trade. I trusted the chart, considering we had ranged during the premarket, so I knew the correct day type, trusted the chart and just tarded the range. I was also very happy with the fact that I took one good tarde and called it today, especially since it was my first day back. Being done for the day with a good trade by 10am and walking away to enjoy the rest of my day is a great habit to be implimenting.

TRADES
Trade 1 - Long 3 MES @ Range Fakeout + Trusting The Chart + Know The Day + Key Level
Grade: A
- Did a good job of Knowing The Day today, seeing that we were ranging in the premarket, and looking for a long at the low of the range after a sweep of lows
- great entry under the liquidity sweep of the 5:30am low (1 MIN)
- long into VWAP + key level at the bottom of the range - good
- I expected this not to be an easy hold as there were two tough pullbacks to hold through, but I remained confident in my trade plan
- everything was doing what I had expected, so I added into a winner which is a great habit - and even though the pullback went deeper than expected after the add, I was seeing more and more confirmation that I was on the right side of the trade so adding to the trade was the right thing to do
- holding back into the red with 3 contracts was difficult but it bounced strong on the next candle which added even mroe to my conviction
- I almost held all the way to target (5886.75) with all 3 contracts, but because of the previous two pullbacks, I was mentally exhausted with this trade and just ready to exit
- I tried to scale out, but after not getting the move up I wanted, I just decided to lock it in (it did go - see Trade 1 Result below)
- great job holding the winner today
