September 18, 2025 (11 Trades) (-$85.00)
Overall Grade: D-
Day Summary: Well, I went on TILT today. The good news is that it happens way less frequently now than it used to in prior years. In 2025 I have made the change to, most of the time, to be able to recognize after 2 consecutive losses that my rules say it's time to walk away for the day, and actually doing it despite my will to continue trading. I think that is such a good habit I have been forming in 2025 and I need to stick with that because it protects me to the downside on my account. It is not easy, because you feel like you have failed the day, but it is necessary and must be done. Unfortunately, today was not one of those days. I did mentally tell myself to walk away after Trade 3, my second loser of the day, but I lacked to discipline to actually do it today. The first trade I took today was a good trade, even though it was in premarket, so I will show that trade below as it's the only trade I want to be focusing on from today. The rest had nothing to do with my strategy so I think it's best to just accept those and move on. I will include a screenshot of all the trades below for reference.
Main take away from today is to remember to submit to the process. Focus on my inputs, and the outcome will take care of itself. Tomorrow I need to just focus on putting on a good trade and making it a simple Friday.
5 MIN - ES
TRADES
Trade 1 - Short 2 MES @ 21 EMA Trap + 4 Targets
Grade: A-
- trading in the direction of the trend - good
- playbooked set up - good
- great entry
- didn't hold all the way to target (6684.00) because we were going into the open but it did hit so my analysis was right
- I also think it was a conservative decision and the right decision to not hold into the open on this trade here
