September 24, 2025 (3 Trades) (+$71.25)
Overall Grade: B
Day Summary: Pretty happy with today overall, but I did force a trade (Trade 2) in the chop based solely out of thinking about the money so that was not ideal. I was at least smart enough to put my stop at BE on that trade as soon as it went green. Trade 1 was a subpar set up but still a decent trade with managed risk so I am ok with that trade. Trade 3 was a playbooked set up but it was still taken out of annoyance and thinking about the money so even though I managed it well, it was a set up and I added to a winner, the main reason for taking the trade was not a good habit and can be dangerous.

TRADES
Trade 1: Short 2 MES @ 21 EMA Trap + 4 Targets
Grade: B
- this is a set up, but a subpar one because of the HL's coming into the set up and I knew that
- the entry was a little early but this was a tough one because it could have been worse (at 21 ema and key level 6712.50)
- good hold but realistically I did think it would pop back up and take me out before moving lower (consolidation PA)
- good job stopping out quick and limiting the loss - easily could be made up and it was on Trade 3
- there was a bit of FOMO in this trade because of missing the 9:50 drop
Trade 2 - Long 2 MES @ No Set Up + Intuition + CHOP
Grade: D+
- forced a trade in chop thinking about the money - bad
- no set up - bad
- buying the bottom side of the 1 min range at least - better than buying the pops in the chop I suppose
- good job going stop to BE immediately after push - I knew this trade wasn't worth the risk
- took this trade out of boredom more than anything - bad
Trade 3 - Short 3 MES @ Range Fakeout + Key Level + 4 Targets + Bias
Grade: A-
- playbooked set up - good
- overall took this trade because I was thinking about the money - bad
- managed this trade well
- added to the winner once I had more conviction - great!
- high conviction on this hold (5 MIN Asia High Sweep) + 15 MIN demand - but this was still a tough mental hold after Trades 1 and 2
