Day Summary: I approached the day today not necessarily looking to trade, and that helped me with the patience I needed to find a trade worth taking. That being said, I did pass on a good overall short idea because I was lacking the confidence I needed to take it, and that would have been the better trade. However, if I am not feeling like I'm in the right head space to take the trade, it was the smart decision to avoid it. The trade I did take lacked a playbook set up, but the DOM helped me confirm I was on the right side of the trade and I added to a winning position which are both good habits that I am happy with for the day. I also gave it a chance but stopped out the added contract for a small loss off of the total amount of my first entry winnings. Good risk management.

- DOM helped confirm I was on the right side of the trade so I was okay with taking 1 MES here - tight stop - close above 7618.75
- added to a winner (DOM) - good habit
- tough pullback to hold after the add, stop was right above the high of the pullback - close above 7618.75
- good job at giving it a chance to move lower with 2 MES, but glad I locked in some profit on the first contract where I did
- target (7601.50) did end up hitting, so overall idea was right
