Day Summary: Happy Birthday Mom!
Today showed just how easy trading can be when you focus on the process, are patient for your set up, and execute the system accordingly. I initially was trying to get a slightly better entry so I only entered one contract, but got in the second contract not long after, and at the perfect time too because it almost dropped straight to target on the same candle. The only thing that reduced my grade from an A+ to an A today was that I didn't hold fully to target. After the quick drop almost to TP (6789.50), and then a pop back up, I got a little emotional that it was going to reverse on me and take away my gains, and based just on the fact that I have been struggling lately, it was enough to convince me to take off the position. Target would have hit just seconds later, but I needed this one and I am happy in how I executed the system.

Trade 1 - Short 2 MES @ 21 EMA Trap + Fakeout Entry + Intuition
Grade: A
- great fakeout entry - slightly aggressice which was warrented in this scenario
- even though I didn't hold to target (6789.50) and should have with this momentum, it's actually good that I at least held through the candle after the big drop candle - that is not easy, especially with how poor I have been trading recently
- looking at the 15min chart, I was just a bit nervous we could bounce off the lows from yesterday and premarket
- I had also noticed we swept London and Asia highs at the open, which could have added to the confidence in this momentum
- overall this is a great trade and a much needed one and done for me
